Fomo3D briefly explained
Fomo3D is a cryptocurrency-based platform developed by the team behind Proof of Weak Hands 3D. Though it is designed to be an extension of PoWH 3D, it is also a completely different game that can function independently.
It is similar to PoWH 3D in that it uses Ethereum for transactions. However, players won’t need to purchase P3D tokens to take part in this new game. In Fomo3D, you have to obtain a private Keys to vie for the Jackpot. The objective is to become the very last person to purchase a Key before the timer hits zero and the round ends. Everyone who took part in the round and held Keys will be rewarded fairly.
Ethereum (Which can be exchanged for your local currency) is what players will receive when they win. The last person who held a Key when the timer runs out wins the entire Pot while the remaining Ethereum in the Smart Contract will be shared by F3D players and P3D holders. Keep in mind that the distribution of the Ethereum pot between all of the participants depends on the team the winner chose prior to acquiring the final Key.
Fomo3D is similar to a lottery in that the house advantage goes to the players of the game.

How to get started playing Fomo3D quickly
If you’re ready to start play Fomo3D, here’s how to quickly jump into the game.
Step 1: Purchase Ethereum on Coinbase (or your platform of choice)
The first thing you’re going to need to do is to buy some Ethereum. Since Ethereum is the primary cryptocurrency used in the Fomo3D game you’ll have to buy it from an exchange. The easiest and most popular way to buy Ethereum is to use Coinbase.
This is how you can easily buy Ethereum from Coinbase:
- First you’ll need to create an account with the platform.
- You’ll then want to link either a Debit Card (faster funding) or a bank account (greater buy limit) as a funding source.
- Purchase Ethereum using US dollars or whatever currency is native to you.

Once you purchase your Ethereum, follow the steps below to start playing Fomo3D.
Step 2: Install and set up MetaMask on your desktop browser
Now it’s time to install MetaMask for your Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Brave browser. Doing so will make it possible for you to access Ethereum web applications such as Fomo3D.
Note: MetaMask doesn’t work for mobile. For mobile access to Fomo3D use Trust Wallet.
- In your Desktop or Laptop browser head over to MetaMask.
- Create a new account with a secure password and store your 12 seed words somewhere safe. They are extremely important!
- Once MetaMask is installed you’ll see a fox icon in the upper right corner of your browser, click it to open MetaMask.
- When the MetaMask extension opens click on the three bold dots “…” and select Copy address to clipboard.
- Go to your Coinbase account (or wherever you have Ethereum) and look for the Send or Withdraw function.
- Paste the address you copied from MetaMask as the destination you want to send your selected amount of Ethereum to.
- Now wait for the Ethereum to show up in your MetaMask account and you’re done with the section.
When the Ethereum transfer is complete to your MetaMask account you’ll be ready to buy Fomo3D Keys!

Step 3: How to purchase Fomo3D Keys with Ethereum in MetaMask
This section details how you can buy Fomo3D Keys with the ETH (Ethereum) in your MetaMask account. For mobile purchases use the Trust Wallet app.
Note: Go to Currencio if you want to know how much USD (or your local currency) converts to ETH and vice versa.
- Go to the Fomo3D game page.
- Scroll to the Choose a Team section on the Purchase tab and choose your team.
- Go to the Keyring section on the Purchase tab and either type in the white box or press the buttons ( [+1], [+10], etc.) how many Keys you want to buy.
- Make sure the @ 0.00000000 ETH box matches how much ETH (Ethereum) you want to spend. (Example @ 0.83084384 ETH would at the time of this writing buy 801 Keys).
- Click the Send ETH button when you are ready to buy.
- Your MetaMask extension will either pop up on your screen or have an alert (a number next to the fox icon). Either way, access your MetaMask account.
- Set your Gas price (Gwei) to however much you are willing to spend on the transaction fee. MetaMask opens with the recommended amount. The higher the Gwei number the faster your transaction will go through. (How Ethereum Gas works)
- Make sure your MetaMask Max Total transaction amount doesn’t exceed the amount of ETH you have in your MetaMask account.
- Hit the Submit button and your transaction is off to the Blockchain and now you just wait.
- When the transaction is confirmed your Keys will show up under the Round tab in the Your Keys section.
Note: When you make a transaction the game will have colored box pop-ups (Black or Green) letting you know the status of your transactions.

Glossary of terms for Fomo3D
This contains a collection of terms that are relevant to Fomo3D. Let’s find out what they mean so we can better understand the mechanics of the game.
Fear of missing out. A term used in the Cryptocurrency world to describe someone’s impulsive reaction to frantically buy for fear of missing out on the rewards.
The abbreviation for Fomo3D. Sometimes you’ll see things referred to as F3D players or F3D Keys, etc.
- Private Key
This is what players need to join the game. You can think of it as your ticket to the next round. Each time a new Key is purchased, a user gets ahead of the competition. But the moment someone else obtains a new one, they become the current leader. The more private Keys you hold, the larger the reward you will receive when the round ends. Do note that these Keys are merely virtual.
F3D players may receive an extra set of Keys for free when making a purchase. That bonus is called an airdrop. Recipients are chosen at random, and anyone who acquires private Keys will have a chance to receive them.
- Exit Scam
When the round ends, the winner and the rest of the players will be given their rewards. In Fomo3D, the taking of the Active Pot is called an Exit Scam. It refers to the Jackpot money that the overall winner and players will receive.
- Advisory Board
Players who purchase a vanity name are entitled to join the Fomo3D referral system, which is dubbed the Advisory Board. These users are given a referral link that they can share to potential F3D participants. When they successfully manage to entice people into taking part in the game, they can earn 10% of all the Keys purchased by the individual they invited.
- PoWH 3D
Stands for Proof of Weak Hands 3D (aka P3D).
Is short for Ethereum (aka Ether). You may hear or see this abbreviation often when it comes to the world of Cryptocurrency.
How does Fomo3D work
Playing Fomo3D lets you earn Ethereum. Even if you don’t actually win, you can create a passive income stream over time. Before anything else, learn the rules so you can play better than the rest of the participants.
Obtaining Keys: First, obtain one or more Keys using Ethereum. By purchasing them, you instantly begin Exit Scamming (The last Key purchase for the Jackpot). But when someone else makes a purchase after you, they begin Exit Scamming and take away your position as the possible winner of the Jackpot. Remember, the last person to buy a full Key before the timer goes to zero wins the Jackpot.
Timer resets: For every new Key that’s bought, the timer resets to 90 seconds in the Quick Scam version. A full Key purchase in the Long Con version adds 30 seconds to the timer. The Long Con version has a timer hard cap of 24 hours.
Key price scaling: The overall price per Key becomes slightly more expensive for everyone in the game whenever a Key purchase is made.
Key purchase ETH distribution: Each time a player buys a new Key, a portion of the sale price will be distributed to F3D players and P3D holders as Earnings. The distribution is fair for everyone in the game. The amount individuals receive depends on the number of Keys they have been holding and the Teams that were chosen at the time of Key purchase.
Referrals: You can invite new players to join the game. By doing so, you will receive a bonus every time they purchase Keys. You can keep 10% of the Ethereum they bring into the game and reinvest into the game.
The Winning Team: The round comes to an end when players stop acquiring Keys, and time runs out. The last person who purchases a new Key before the countdown clock reaches zero wins. The last team chosen by the winner before time ran out is considered the winning team, and that decides how the reward is going to be distributed out to the players and holders.
Active Pot distribution: Ethereum is distributed right after the round ends. The winner gets 48% of the Active Pot, and the rest of the participants share a portion of the remaining half. Again, the Team chosen by the winner prior to purchasing the final Key determines who gets what slice of the Exit Scam. But in terms of distribution of the rewards amongst players, the process is unbiased.
New rounds: Once all of the Keys have been sold and the rewards distributed, a new round begins. Do remember that a portion of the Ethereum pot from the previous round will be withheld to kick-start the succeeding game.
Your Vault: All Ethereum rewards are stored in The Vault, including the referral bonuses that players who are part of the Advisory Board will receive. The Ethereum earnings can be withdrawn anytime through a MetaMask or Trust wallet.
Intermission: When a round officially ends for the Quick Scam version of Fomo3D a new one starts 5 minutes after. This 5 minute break is called the ICO phase (Initial Con Offering) which is a jest at ICO’s (Initial Coin Offering) in the Cryptocurrency world. During the ICO phase anyone can purchase Keys for a discounted price before the next round starts. In the Long Con version of Fomo3D once the round ends there is an hour long break before the next round begins. During this time no Keys can be purchased until the next official round starts.
How to play Fomo3D
Video: Fomo3D questions answered
As you can see, Fomo3D is an entirely different game from PoWH 3D. On the other hand, there are several elements that make them quite alike. For instance, several players can receive Ethereum as a reward even when they don’t win. Plus, there aren’t any unfair advantages in the game.
Note: Go to our Quick Start Guide section if you need help buying Ethereum, setting up MetaMask, and purchasing Fomo3D Keys.
How to purchase Ethereum
To participate in the game, you must have Ethereum. You can purchase it from cryptocurrency exchanges you trust. But make sure that you are acquiring it from a reliable platform such as Coinbase. For those of you who’ve yet to hear about this virtual currency exchange, it’s a secure online platform where you can buy, sell, transfer, and store cryptocurrency.
If you’re new to Coinbase, you can purchase Ethereum by following these steps:
- Start an account.
This way you can have a secure space for storing the cryptocurrency you purchase. It will also make it easier for you to convert your local currency into Ethereum, and vice versa.
- Connect your bank account.
Before you can make a purchase, you will have to link the account to a funding source. You will also have to go through a verification process to set up the account.
- Purchase Ethereum
Once you’ve verified your bank account, you can make your first purchase. Keep in mind that the price of Ethereum is constantly fluctuating, so be sure to check the current exchange rate before buying.
Now that you have Ethereum, you can purchase private Keys when the game opens. But there’s no need to rush. There are a few more things you need to learn about Fomo3D.
How to choose a team
Players are separated into four major teams. Each time you purchase a Key, you are given the opportunity to side with a new group. Remember that if you win, the last team you choose determines how the exit scam or the Ethereum pot will be distributed. The Key buy-in price split up will also depend on the winning team.
You have the freedom to choose whatever team you want, and you can do so whenever a purchase is made. Here are the four teams in Fomo3D:
“Trickle down divinomics.”
Sneks like to distribute a larger portion of the reward money to P3D holders instead of the winning player. As for the Key buy-in price, a bulk of the sale price will go to P3D holders while the rest will be shared by all F3D players who participated in that round.
“Feed on the greed of others.”
Team whale prefers keeping most of the Ethereum reward around for succeeding plays. They would rather save most of the exit scam for the next round than give it to other players and holders as dividends. Most of the Key buy-in price will go to the Ethereum pot and the residual amount will be split between F3D players or P3D holders.
“Break upwards, never stagnate.”
Bulls want to give F3D players a larger portion of the reward stash. If the winner comes from this team, most of the Ethereum pot will be distributed as dividends to all participants. P3D holders will still get a certain percentage of the bounty, but it will be far less compared to what F3D players will receive.
“Stand alone. Fight alone.”
If they end up as the winning team, the Key buy-in price will never be allocated to P3D holders. It will mostly be distributed among the players of F3D. When the game ends, P3D holders also won’t receive a portion of the Ethereum pot. Bears believe that only the players and, of course, the winner should receive the prize.
Selecting one out of the four might seem a bit overwhelming for beginners. But it won’t always be that way once you’ve familiarized them. Here are a few pointers that should help you decide which team to choose at any point in the game:
- Whale and Bull: If you would rather give the bulk of the reward money to the winner, choose these teams. They will prioritize the player who wins the round.
- Bear and Snek: Select either of these teams if you want all F3D players to have the largest share of the Ethereum reward.
- Snek and Bull: Are you a P3D holder as well? If you’re looking to earn a decent amount of dividends, these teams should help you achieve that.
- Whale and Bear: Choose these teams if you want to allocate a significant portion of the reward money for the next round. If you’re looking to play a few more games, either of these groups should be a great choice.
Always remember that the winning team is the group that the champion sided with prior to the end of the round. After every game, they decide how the reward stash will be distributed between the winner, F3D players who joined the round, and all P3D holders. The amount that’s going to be withheld also depends on the winning team. That will go back to the Ethereum pot and should help kick off the next round. Hence, choose your team wisely!
Making passive income with Fomo3D Keys
In this section we’ll discuss how you can make passive income holding Fomo3D Keys during a round. This is one of the best strategies for playing the Fomo3D Long Con version. The reason why is because the longer a round in Fomo3D lasts, the more Earnings you’ll receive over time.
Every time someone in the game buys a Key, everyone else holding Keys in the game receives a small portion of dividends from the purchase. So the more Keys you hold, the more earnings you’ll receive from each Key purchase from other players.
So as a simplified example, lets say in the entire game there are a total of 100 Keys. You own 1 Key and 99 other players each have 1 Key as well. If a new player comes in and purchases 1 Key at the price of $1 then everyone else already holding Keys would get an equal share of that $1 purchase. The $1 would be split up among the 100 players holding Keys. So you would end up with a 1 cent earning.
In the same example if you were to have held 50 Keys instead of 1 Key you would end up with a 50 cent earning instead of a 1 cent earning. Now, this is just a simple concept so you can better understand how the earnings system works in the game and why it’s beneficial to hold as many Keys as possible. Fomo3D is far more complicated than people realize and the example we laid out is nowhere near the math that goes into determining an earnings breakdown for Key holders.
Again, the idea behind the example we put forth is to purchase and accumulate as many Keys as possible as early as possible. That way you can start making passive income in Fomo3D for as long as the round lasts. So say for example you have accumulated 10,000 Keys early in the Fomo3D Long Con round. If that round last for months to years then you’ve just set yourself up with an opportunity to make a lot of passive income over a long period of time.
The earlier you get into a round and accumulate Keys, the better with this type of strategy in the Long Con version of Fomo3D.
But what if a round ends right after you buy? What if you are jumping into a round that has already been going for awhile? Are you too late? Well, at that time it’ll totally be up to you whether you think the round will keep going long enough to make your return of investment back or not. Fomo3D is absolutely unpredictable. There are so many factors in how long a round can last that we can’t tell you when the best time to jump in should be.
Making dividends as a P3D token holder
Fomo3D was designed as an extension of the cryptocurrency exchange, PoWH 3D. That’s mainly why P3D token holders benefit from this game. As mentioned, every user who has P3D will receive dividends each time a Key is purchased in Fomo3D. When the game ends, they will also acquire a portion of Ethereum from the reward money. But if Team Bear wins, they will be left out.
Bears don’t like sharing their bounty with P3D holders. So, how can one increase the dividends for P3D holders?
Play on Team Snek.
If you want to receive benefits as a P3D holder but don’t really want to play Fomo3D, you only need to store tokens to earn a portion of the bounty. The distribution of dividends among holders, as well as players, is always fair. Remember that the more tokens you hold, the larger your share will be.
To find out how to purchase P3D tokens, take a look at our P3D Getting Started guide.
Making money with referrals in Fomo3D
Do you want to earn a little passive income? When you become a member of the Fomo3D Advisory Board, you will receive 10% of all the Ethereum that’s introduced into the game by the people you invited to Fomo3D. However, you must buy a vanity name before you can use the Fomo3D referral system.
Here’s what you need to do to join:
- Go to the Fomo3D site and click on the Register a name link at the top middle of the screen
By doing so, you will be asked to choose a nickname for your online avatar. The name you pick will pop up on the leaderboard if you become the current private Key owner.
- Pay .01 Ethereum to join the advisory board
You will have to pay a small fee to use the referral system. Each time a player signs up for a vanity link, the payment goes to the community fund and is then given to the developers and staff members.
- Share your referral link
Open the Vanity and Referrals tab to find and copy the link you need to share. Once you become an advisor, you can invite friends and members from different discords.
- Earn Ethereum.
A referral fee is given to all advisors when everyone they’ve invited through their customized link makes a purchase or reinvests. You can earn 10% of all Ethereum that’s introduced into the game by people who joined F3D using your link. Don’t worry— this won’t be deducted from their dividends or their personal Ethereum savings.
All referral links are safeguarded by the smart contract itself. That means you will be able to receive your earnings no matter what browser or computer you use. Fomo3D makes sure that everyone who promotes the game can earn a substantial income over time.
Making money by receiving random airdrops
One way to earn extra money in Fomo3D is by making a purchase of at least 0.1 ETH. That will qualify you for a random airdrop. After you’ve acquired your private Keys, a notification will pop up from the Purchase tab, informing you about your chance of receiving this bonus.
The message for example might say, 0.5% chance to receive a 0.75 ETH Airdrop with your next purchase with at least .1 ETH!
Players will receive another notification after their transaction gets recorded in the contract. That message should inform you of the success of the airdrop.
Each new Key you buy will increase your likelihood of winning a random airdrop the next time you make a purchase. However, even this bonus feature is like a lottery. When someone else receives an airdrop, it resets everyone else’s chance of winning the next one.
Why you should play Fomo3D
Compared to other exchange platforms, Fomo3D gives players several opportunities to earn cryptocurrency. You don’t even need to win the game to do so. Here are a bunch of reasons why need to start playing Fomo3D now:
- Ethereum rewards
Just by joining a game, you have the opportunity to earn Ethereum as dividends. Players may receive a portion of the Key buy-in price and the reward money at the end of each round. P3D holders can also obtain a certain percentage of the dividends. There’s no need to buy P3D tokens to buy P3D to take part in Fomo3D, but players who do are rewarded fairly.
Bonuses come in the form of airdrops and referral fees. Anyone who signs up for a vanity name may receive a 10% share of all the Ethereum that’s brought into the game by the people they invited. As for the bonus Keys that are rewarded during airdrops, it can potentially increase their personal share of the dividends at the end of the game.
The smart contract that runs the game makes sure everyone who enters Fomo3D has a fair shot of winning. It also ensures fair distribution of dividends among all F3D players and P3D holders. The bonuses are also given randomly.
In Fomo3D, everyone has the same opportunity to win and earn Ethereum. By detailing all that you need to know about the game in this guide, we hope you can maximize your profits over time.
A smart contract runs F3D. No one but the system itself has power over the game. Governments, financial authorities, and even its developers can’t alter it once it has been submitted to the Ethereum network.
F3D is all about community. Since players are divided into four different teams, there are a lot of opportunities to meet new people and build relationships.
Fomo3D Frequently Asked Questions
This section covers answers to common questions about Fomo3D. If something isn’t covered in this section, please leave your question in the comment section so we or other visitors may answer your questions.
Do I need to purchase P3D to play F3D?
Ethereum is the currency used in F3D. That’s what you will need to purchase private Keys. That means there’s absolutely no need to obtain P3D tokens to join the game. However, we do encourage F3D players to invest in P3D as well. All users who have these tokens benefit from this game. They can continue to receive a significant amount of dividends as long as they hold on to P3D.
Why will the price of the Keys go up after every purchase?
The premise is simple. Each time you buy a new private Key, there should be some sort of assurance that you can be the last person to make a purchase. To enforce that idea, the system automatically raises prices after each purchase. As it continues to increase over time, the probability of players buying new Keys will decrease.
Is the startup cost of the Keys similar in each round?
Yes, that is correct. In every round, the starting price will remain the same. The portion of the Ethereum pot that’s withheld for the next round won’t affect the startup cost of the private Keys.
What happens when players purchase only a fraction of a Key?
Players can only win the game if they purchase one or more new Keys. Buying them in little portions won’t make a player a private Key owner. That means they won’t have a shot at winning the game. On the other hand, fractional Keys will increase their share of the dividends.
How many Keys can players purchase at one time?
Players have to adhere to a strict Ethereum limit at the very beginning of each round. At the initial phase of the game, participants are only allowed to buy one Ethereum’s worth of Keys. Those who reach their limit at this point in the game won’t be able to make additional purchases until the next phase begins. It starts when a total of 18,375 Keys, which should be worth 212 Ethereum, have been purchased.
As you already know, Fomo3D gives all its players a fair shot at the prize. Enforcing this limit ensures that no one can hoard all the less expensive Keys at one go. This also suggests that until there are 213 players in a single round, the rest of the community will remain cautious about how they spend their Ethereum.
What happens to the Keys I purchased?
It will be sold. The system pays you in Ethereum for holding on to private Keys. The amount depends entirely on the number of Keys that you held within a particular round. That means all Keys that were bought as well as those you received as a bonus determines how much you will receive at the end of the game.
What happens after every round of Fomo3D?
You get paid for playing! The final person who purchased a Key before the clock hit zero wins the round. This individual is rewarded with a significant portion of the Ethereum pot. The remaining amount goes to all F3D players who participated in this specific round and P3D holders. A little portion will also be withheld and carried over to the succeeding round. More importantly, the winning team gets to decide who gets how much of the reward.
When will a new round begin?
A new game starts 5 minutes after the countdown clock hit zero. Players won’t be allowed to make any purchases within this time. Buy orders will only be accepted once the new round starts.
Am I allowed to switch teams?
Absolutely. Technically, you have several opportunities to change teams within a single round. Each time you purchase new Keys, you are asked to select a team. You can support the same group again, or you can pick a new one. Just remember to side with the team that will help you maximize your profits in Fomo3D.
Why should I buy multiple Keys in one go?
By purchasing several Keys, you get a larger portion of the Ethereum pot for a specific round. Even if you don’t end up winning the game, you could potentially receive a large percentage of the dividends from the Key sales and the prize money. Plus, purchasing multiple Keys increases your chance of receiving an airdrop.
Does the timer reset if I purchase a new Key when I’m the current leader?
Yes. The system automatically resets the countdown clock whenever a new Key is purchased. It won’t matter if you’re currently on the top of the leaderboard. As long as a new Key is introduced into the game, the timer gets an additional 90 seconds.
What is that big red button? Can I press it?
Please don’t. Never press the big red button, and don’t check on your P3D dividends after a transaction is completed. But if you are a developer, you might need to integrate one of our big red buttons into your Dapps.
The F3D and P3D ecosystem
F3D comes with a big red button. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn’t trigger anything destructive. This button, in particular, is designed to bring joy to all P3D holders. Activating it sets the bridge contract in motion, which allows P3D holders to receive a certain portion of the incoming funds sent to the contract.
Bridge. That’s what the contract is called in the P3D ecosystem. It provides a way to send external dividends to P3D using other Dapps. For those Dapp developers who want to gain access to the marketing power of our community, send @inventor a message on the Discord chat. You can talk about SDK and other details regarding its integration into your Dapp.
P3D has the largest group and arguably the most powerful band of marketers in the Dapp community. By integrating our big red button into one of your Dapps, an alliance that benefits all parties will be formed. A small portion of the divs goes to token holders, and you get the endorsement of the P3D community. They should be happy and willing to advertise for you.
Fomo3D is such a unique game
Just like PoWH 3D, this new platform provides cryptocurrency investors with a fun and unique way of earning Ethereum. Although Fomo3D is designed to help players create a steady stream of income, it has its fair share of risks. There’s no absolute guarantee that you will receive a significant portion of the rewards each time you decide to play.
For instance, as a P3D holder, one can have a high dividend yield from the Key sales and the Ethereum pot in a single round. But in the next one, you might also not receive a portion of the bounty. On the other hand, there’s always a way to ensure that you won’t encounter drastic losses.
That is possible if you go over the rules.
When you know how Fomo3D works, you can figure out the best ways to earn a passive income. You can probably start investing in P3D tokens. You might also consider joining the advisory board.
The game has plenty of opportunities for its players, all of which is in this guide. All you have to do now is to read it.
Take your time, and embrace the process, so you will exactly know what you need to do to make the most out of your Ethereum.
We know it’s a lot to take in, but when you’re done, you should see your hard work pay off.
