Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Launches This Year

Telltale Games, most known for their work on The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series, revealed the first screenshots of their new Guardians of the Galaxy game. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series features an original story that is shaped by players’ choices. The visual style of the game is heavily inspired by Marvel’s films, the second of which is launching May 5 of this year.

Telltale and Marvel also unveiled the names of the voice actors who will be voicing the main cast of heroes. The cast includes Scott Porter (Star-Lord), Emily O’Brien (Gamora), Nolan North (Rocket), Brandon Paul Eells (Drax), and Adam Harrington (Groot).

Specific platforms for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series have yet to be officially announced. You can expect the game to launch on consoles and PC later this year, according to Telltale. Stay tuned for more information as Telltale Games and Marvel decide to share it with us.

Telltale might be overextending themselves with the number of franchises they have taken on recently. Fans have been asking for season 2 of The Wolf Among Us since episode 5 launched in 2014. There is also no word on the next season of their Game of Thrones game. Even so, we can expect a high-quality narrative experience from Telltale with Guardians of the Galaxy.
